In the late 1970's, when in college at Berkeley, I was one of the chosen few who drove the Humphrey GoBart buses, shuttling students around campus in Mercedes Benz D309 buses. My nickname was "Captain Go Bart." This is my blog.
Thanks to the encouragement of Hugh Hewitt, I am joining the blogger revolution. Better late than never. Not really sure what I will contribute to anyone, or to solve any world problems, but its as good a way as any for a writer to express themselves. Perhaps self-indulgent, I hope not.

I am an ordained Presbyterian pastor, serving the Harvest Presbyterian Church in Ceres (pronounced "series"), California. I also serve as the Treasurer for the Presbytery of Stockton. I used to be an AYSO soccer referee (Advanced). I used to teach New Testament as a Adjunct at Azusa Pacific University for 18 years. My wife and I have two amazing children who are not kids anymore. Some of us like spicy food. I like Thin Mints.
